Hazelcombe is a terminus station on the Western Region of British Rail. It portrays the diesel hydraulic era in its twilight years, 1970 to 1977. With a combination of long passenger trains making their way into the station and the humble Class 04 shunter on pilot duties, this O gauge model railway is not only impressive to look at but entertaining to watch. With all the locos fitted for DCC sound too, you really get a feel for the atmosphere around this busy station as the trains come and go.
