Hey group! Welcome back! Thanks for checking in.
This video is part of the Recteq RT-1400 cooking series.

Disclaimer I'm not sponsored by Recteq, I purchased this smoker for use at home and will provide my personal views and opinions without any influence.

Today we're smoking three whole chickens on the Recteq. Two will be split and one will be our daughters long time favorite, beer can style that we've done many times over the years.
I got these birds from my butcher, right after delivery from the local processor. Never frozen. You won't get this quality from $h!t-mart. These are healthy, locally raised and clean birds. These actually taste like chicken.

Here's the list -
3 Whole Chickens, 3-4lbs each
Caramelized Onion Butter Seasoning
Chef John's Soul Powder – Hot Lemon Pepper
Chef Greg's Four Letter Rub #masterchefallpurpose #itdoesnotsuck
Lawry's Seasoned Salt

Again we were having another rainy day but I said no matter what these fresh birds are getting into the smoker.
I set my smoker temp for 315F.
The total cook time for all three was around 1:45mins. I'm getting a much better understanding how close this is to our convection oven in the kitchen.

Big thanks to my butcher I depend on very much for their high quality products and great service every time. These chicken were fresh that day!
