I thought I would celebrate my new years with a smoke alarm sound off since other smoke alarm collectors do this too.


I would love to thank all my subscribers and even people that just randomly happen to find these videos and leave positive comments for all the support and making 2023 successful for me and my YouTube channel. Not only that I’ve found this new smoke alarm hobby that I never thought I would ever have. I used to be really afraid of them because they are very loud. It was also a special thanks to the smoke alarm collectors from the smoke alarm community for making this happen with even just asking me to do a smoke alarm video because I have the ultra rare BRK CO5120B. I was originally going to do that smoke alarm video because I was asked to but once I did that I learned how fun it was to learn and make videos of smoke alarms. It also comes in handy when I need to have mine replaced because I can do it myself since I know how to work with smoke alarm wiring. But still I love elevators more since that is a hobby that I’ve had since I was a little kid and I can’t believe I’ve been obsessed elevators over 15 years now. In 2023 I ran into that kid at Willow bend back in August who was a huge fan of my YouTube channel and I got a great opportunity to film elevators with him there. This year I also got to film elevators that I rode when I was a kid but never had really gotten the chance to film them which were the ones at The Summit at Preston trails and the ones at the Gaylord Opryland resort. I hope to film a LOT of elevators in 2024 and even do a bunch of smoke alarm videos that come in handy when you need a tutorial for a certain thing and make videos of my collection and different type of smoke alarm tests. I will say that I will no longer be filming elevators at airports because it’s WAY too hard to do now. It was easier during the pandemic because they weren’t as crowded and I could get them faster but now I have to worry about getting to my flights on time and it’s a pain sometimes. And I hope to reach 1K subscribers by the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025. I’ve noticed that I’m well on my way though. I’m hoping I didn’t disturb my neighbors doing this but since I am friends with them and their grandkids I don’t think they were bothered by it. They know I like elevators. Plus all night I heard Fireworks going off that were MUCH louder than these smoke alarms.
