Some of you may want to know why some weavers like to have 8 or more shafts to weave. We sometimes call this Shaft Envy. In this recording I compare rigid heddle weaving to 8 shaft weaving and demonstrate weaving a cat pattern that I sell in my Etsy shop. This technique can be applied to any of the "overshot" type patterns that are available.
