Classic Italian Manicotti recipe using prepared tomato sauce. This recipe takes me one hour from start to table! Comfort food that doesn't break the bank.
This manicotti is filled with 3 cheeses, but you can easily add leftover cooked proteins like sausage or chicken. Or keep it vegetarian and add some of your favorite chopped veggies.
This is one of my families favorite Italian dishes. I make this at least once a month.
Here are the ingredients you'll need:
MANICOTTI RECIPE
1 Box Dried Manicotti Pasta Tubes
3 cups Ricotta Cheese
2 16 oz. Jars of Prepared Italian Tomato Sauce (I love RAO's Brand)
2 1/2 cups Mozzarella Cheese shredded
1 1/2 cups Parmigiana Reggiano Cheese grated
1/2 cup Parsley chopped (flat leaf or curly whichever you prefer)
2 Eggs beaten
2 Tbsp plus 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper ground
