Instead of burning the pruned off canes of your blueberry bushes in January use them for growing new plants. This can be done in a greenhouse or just a warm place in your house. This video shows the progress over 9 months time of blueberry cuttings placed in two different rooting mediums. One is fine wood bark. The other potting soil. The bark medium proved to be the best.
