y I've been receiving copyright claims on my YouTube channel from y'all. One video, Take for example on, "Abatesi Remix, Chance Nalubega Ft. Goodllife". I am the original composer of Abatesi which I wrote and sung in 2002. I was approached by the Goodllife artists to help collab my music (Abatesi, and She's one of a Kind (Omusheshe remix) because they were friends and fans of my music, we had NO written agreement and certainly there were NO copyright laws by then but most importantly I did NOT sell my music to them and I WASN'T paid, we just collabed hoping to earn from the collabos through concerts. I retained my rights to the music. I, Chance Nalubega, I'm still the original composer and singer for the music mentioned above and all my other collabos with other artists outside of Gudlife.

I composed and sung Abatesi In the year 2002 which became a huge hit and one Omusheshe. For this reason, Goodlife was interested in my greatest hits and I certainly did NOT sell off my greatest hits! (who does?) Goodlife has no powers or authority, permission to claim my music using UPRS or any other distributors and certainly NOT on my YouTube channel. We collaborated out of dear friendship. I didn't sell my catalogue as per what the distributors or UPRS may think.

Please refrain from claiming my music

If you don't comprehend, please make time to meet my legal team and the fact that UPRS didn't pay me for all the years they earned revenue from my music but rather hoodwinked us and embezzled my royalties. This will be an open tin of worms that I'd decided to burry in the past.
