The Miss Lao New Year RI 2018 Annual Fundraiser was held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Venus de Milo in Swansea, Mass.

Last year's contestants were honored for their community service and the 2018 contestants were officially revealed. The 2018 contestants will participate in the Nang Sangkhan 2561/ Miss Lao New Year RI 2018 Pageant on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the Wat Lao Buddhovath of RI located on 88 Limerock Rd. in Smithfield, RI.

This event and the Miss Lao New Year RI Pageant is organized by the Board of Directors, its partner organizations, and community volunteers of the Wat Lao Buddhovath of Rhode Island.
