Between the 16th and 19th centuries, #wood became a strategic material of undoubted value for #building #naval. Oaks, conifers, and other tree species were used as fundamental components of the hull and arbor structure of galleys, naos, galleons, and ships of the line. In the summer of 2021, the Rear Admiral and Deputy Director of Engineering of the #Armada, Don Antonio González García, paid a visit to the town of Quintanar de la Sierra, to learn about the heritage related to the Royal Navy that had been preserved until the date. #Documentary film
