3DMakerPro Moose would not activate in JMStudios software to start scanning. It turns out there is a settings in windows that prevents the software from activating the camera.

In Windows 10/11 it under Start - Settings - Privacy - Camera.
You should then be able to “Allow apps to access your camera”. If the app is not listed then you may need to enable Let desktop apps access your camera.
