Forty Four buildings in Hong Kong put on a light and sound show every night at 8 P.M. The show consists of colored lights on the outsides of buildings, lasers, spotlights, and fireworks (on special holidays), all synchronized to music. The buildings located on both sides of Victoria Harbour span a distance of 6.5 Km or 4 miles, so there is no one place to see all the buildings at the same time. The best locations for viewing the show are: Kowloon side - upper deck platform between Star Ferry and the Avenue of the Stars, or Island Side - from the waterfront at the Convention Center. The music for the show is played publicly at the above two locations, and on the radio at 103.4 and 106.8 FM. This multiple computer controlled show is 13 min 40 sec long, so this shorter Youtube version has had the building introductions removed, and a couple other segments cut short to make it fit. You've seen the TSO house at christmas; this show is on a much larger scale with more I/O controllers per building than the TSO house. It is nearly one mile across the harbour. This show uses 17 nights of the 55 nights of tripod mounted filming I have done so far. (They added a bunch of new buildings last summer so I had to start filming it all over again.) This show was filmed as late as May 2008. I have been filming this show for nearly three years in order to put up the best show that I can. If you come to Hong Kong for the 2008 Equestrian Olympic events, be sure to catch this amazing show. This is one of the things that makes Hong Kong an outstanding city.
