This building is a historic landmark in NC. It was built in 1918 as the First National Bank of Gastonia & then it became The Lawyers Building. Choice Hotels bought it & renovated it into a hotel which that process took about 6 years. The Esquire Hotel opened in 2020 & has 35 guest rooms, Barrister's Restaurant off the lobby and also on the roof top. Notary Coffee Shop is located in the basement. I didn't find any business or fitness centers but they do offer copy and fax services. Sadly it looks like they took out one of two elevators and modernized the other elevator. They did leave the historic floor indicators on some of the floors though. #tjelevatorfan #elevator #hotel
