You'd be easily forgiven if you've never heard of the Jaguar XJR 100. Built alongside the XKR 100 to celebrate what would have been company founder, Sir William Lyons' 100th Birthday. Only 500 of these supercharged, super saloons were made. Finished in 'Anthracite' black and sitting on 19 inch 'Montreal' alloys and with a host of extras and unique features, this XJR 100 certainly looks and drives the part.

New, it carried a colossal price tag, but in recent years it's largely flown under the radar and prices are still sensible - if you can find one!. There's no denying you will pay a premium for one of these over a normal X308 XJR, but this is something special and could just be an early 2000s bargain!

Able to compete with the iconic E39 BMW M5 and Mercedes Benz E55 AMG, and with performance to match a Porsche 911, this Jag certainly did not disappoint on the road, and when it comes to comfort, it's simply unrivalled. Join me behind the wheel to take a closer look at the Jaguar XJR 100 - The Supercharged Jaguar you've never heard of!
