A walk to the Albrechtsburg, where the cradle of Saxony begins. In 929, King Henry I built a wooden fortification on a rock above the Elbe. Arnold of Westphalia converted the Albrechtsburg into Germany's first castle in 1471.

Meissen is located on the Elbe and north of Dresden.
