With 2 of the original members after 50 years Don Brewer (drums, vocals), and Mel Schacher (bass), and the great Bruce Kulick on lead guitar & backing vocals (formerly lead guitar for KISS 1984-1996, replacing Ace during their unmasked no-makeup years until the KISS “2nd Coming” reunion with Ace & Peter in 1996). Grand Funk sounded great and put on a very good show for the Sold Our Oxford Performing Arts Theater for a highly-geriatric crowd who loved every minute of it! They started promptly @ 7pm & ended @ 8:19 (?!), a surprisingly brief show considering their was no opening act. But the crowd was probably glad, as it was getting close to our bed time! Great old songs- dead on performance with a very positive & upbeat vibe with their audience.
