八ヶ岳山麓の長野県小海町は映画「君の名は。」の新海誠監督が生まれ育った故郷です。映画で描かれている糸守町は小海町がモデルと言われています。

　小海町は長野県の東部、南佐久地域のほぼ中央に位置します。
町の中央を南北に流れる千曲川に平行してJR小海線，国道141号線が走り，町の主要な交通路となっています。千曲川の左岸（西部地域）は八ヶ岳連峰の裾野が広大な傾斜地として広がり、右岸（東部地域）は秩父山塊の裾野の段丘帯となっています。

Komi town in Nagano Prefecture at the foot of Yatsugatake mountain is the hometown where Mr. Shinkai Makoto of the movie "Your name is." Was born and raised. It is said that Komi town is a model in Itomori Town which is drawn in a movie.

Komi town is located in the east part of Nagano prefecture, almost in the center of Minami Saku region.
JR Koumi Line, Route 141 runs parallel to Chikuma River which flows north and south in the center of the town, and it is the main traffic passage of the town. On the left bank (western area) of the Chikuma River, the foot of the Yatsugatake mountain range spreads as a vast slope, and the right bank (eastern area) is a terraced terrace of the Chichibu Mountain Bottom.
