Today, I would like to share some tips on how you can make your off leash walks more productive because the last thing we want is for our dog to take off, once the leash is gone, and just have fun on their own!
Instead I'd like my dogs to check in with me, maybe play some games and of course they get lots of "free time" where they can run and sniff as much as they like.
The strategies I use will also make it easier when your walk comes to and end as it's not such an abrupt transition from "do as you like" to "back leash and the fun is over"!
