Macrame Dress / Festival Macrame Dress/ Beach Macrame Dress/ Holiday Macrame Dress / Party Macrame Dress / Summer Macrame Dress

I've been waiting so long for this! Our Golden Design dress tutorial is finally ready. I hope you will enjoy making it with me, as well as love wearing your new dress!

In this video, I will be showing you how to create a stunning macrame dress that is perfect for any occasion. Whether you're heading to a music festival, spending a day at the beach, going on holiday, or attending a party, this dress is sure to turn heads. This dress will make you look and feel amazing.

You'll love the unique and stylish design of this dress, which features intricate macrame patterns and a comfortable, flowy fit. It's also lightweight and breathable, making it perfect for hot summer days and nights.

So if you're looking for a fun and creative project to try, or just want to add a new dress to your wardrobe, be sure to watch this video and learn how to make your own macrame dress!

MATERIALS and CORD LENGTHS:
T-Shirt Yarn
3x 250cm / 98.4 inches
34x 380cm / 149.6 inches
1x 300 cm / 118.1 inches
26*x 200cm / 78.7 inches

KNOTS USED:
Lark's Head Knot
Square Knot
Double Half Hitch Knot
Braid

I have created another back design for this dress. While both designs are lovely, I think the new one is a bit easier to manage :)
If you have already made the dress and would like to create a different back design, you can simply follow the steps in this video (link below) to undo the knots and modify the back accordingly. Watch the tutorial to learn how to adjust the design and create the desired back for your dress.
   • Macrame Dress /Festival Macrame Dress...

For the front of the dress, I used 34 pieces of 380cm cord, but my T-Shirt yarn was quite thick (8mm). For the same dress design with a different T-Shirt yarn that was a bit slimmer, I used 38 pieces of 380cm cord for the front. When measuring the upper front section (where the Lark's Head Knots are), both dresses had 30cm/11.8 inches, so that's what you want to aim for.

I am making this dress on a size 8-10 (UK size) mannequin, but I've also made one for my friend who is a size 12 and it fit her perfectly too! The only thing I had to do was to add a few cords to the back of the dress. I believe you can make adjustments for sizes 6-14 using this tutorial.
