I went to Odawara in Kanagawa Prefecture. The Shinkansen passes through and is close to Hakone, making it a city visited by many people. It is said that it has served as a regional center since ancient times, as it is located at a key point on the way to the Kanto plain from the Hakone mountains. You can tell by looking at Odawara Castle. Starting with Hayakawa, a fishing village in Odawara, I took a walk through the quiet residential areas of Odawara and toured Odawara Castle.
