In this video I will explain what midi is, how to connect the Yamaha PSS-A50 to a computer to make multitrack midi recordings, how to use it as a controller for virtual instruments, and how to make audio recordings. I have tried to keep it as short as possible and only cover the most important aspects. There is certainly much more to learn about midi and recording, but this should be all you need to know if all you have is the PSS-A50, a computer, some freeware recording software and maybe an audio interface.
