An Lemmens follows and interviews the band ''Simple Plan'' during their tour (An Tour). Simple Plan is a Canadian rock band from Montreal, Quebec, formed in 1999. The band’s current lineup includes Pierre Bouvier (lead vocals, studio bass guitar), Chuck Comeau (drums), Jeff Stinco (lead guitar), and Sébastien Lefebvre (rhythm guitar, backing vocals). David Desrosiers, who played bass guitar and provided backing vocals, joined the band in 2000 but left in 2020.

The band has released six studio albums, starting with No Pads, No Helmets...Just Balls in 2002, which includes popular singles like "I'm Just a Kid" and "Perfect." Their musical style is mainly pop-punk, with influences of alternative rock, pop rock, and power pop. Simple Plan gained significant popularity for their energetic performances, including regular appearances at the Vans Warped Tour and at major events like the 2010 Winter Olympics closing ceremony.

Over the years, Simple Plan has collaborated with several artists and contributed to various soundtracks, such as performing the theme song for the animated series What’s New, Scooby-Doo?. They have also engaged in philanthropic activities through the Simple Plan Foundation, which supports causes related to teen issues, such as suicide prevention, poverty, and drug addiction.

The band’s most recent album, Harder Than It Looks (2022), was well-received, marking their continued presence in the music industry. Simple Plan has also been active in touring, with plans to continue performing globally in 2024, including headlining tours and supporting other major artists like Avril Lavigne.
