There are still some city residents who fail to bring their barangay exit passes. They think that what they see on the streets where there seems to be busier traffic and lots of people walking around, is a sign that things are going back to normal. With the increase of COVID-19 positive persons in the city and the declaration that there is now a local transmission, the city police are setting up more checkpoints to make sure only those with essential errands are able to leave their homes. One such mobile checkpoints is at Velez and Gaerlan streets today. Sios-e Online News Magazine talks to Police Lt. Jaazaniah Bongcawil of the Police Station One Divisoria who says people should really adhere to the rules and regulations of the government to help in preventing the spread of the killer virus.
