In this series Stimming showcases technology he considers to be modern classics for music production, walking us through some of his favourite synths and drum machines of the last two decades. Some are well known, some a bit more niche but all have a certain touch, fitness and originality which makes them stand out as a modern classic.

In this episode he lays focus on the MFB Tanzbär a drum machine, a staple in Stimming’s setup since it was released some years ago. It's a fully analog drum machine featuring fourteen percussion instruments, two digital synthesizer voices and extensive sequencer functions. Not easy to use and not always logical it’s one of Stimming’s favourite drum machines and found its place in many of his tracks.
