Follow the easy steps:- for HP Smart Tank 500 and 600 printer unboxing, download the software, load paper, ink install, and establish wireless network connection.

1. Unboxing the printer
first remove the protective tape from inside and outside of the printer and film covering the scanner glass.

Then remove the foam bag containing the HP Smart Tank ink cartridges from on top of
the paper tray.

2. Wi-Fi Setup

Connect the HP Smart Tank Printer power cord to the wall socket. Do not connect the USB cable. Connect to USB cable after the HP Smart Tank Driver installation.

3. Install the ink cartridges

Turn off your HP Smart Tank Printer. Remove the old ink cartridges from your HP Smart Tank
Printer. Place the new cartridges over the two plastic tabs used to secure the chip onto the cartridges. Gently press down until the chip properly. Now close the glass lid and power on
the HP Smart Tank printer.

4. Load Papers

Pull out the paper tray from the bottom of your printer. Slide the Paper Glide in front of the
printer. Load the paper stack with the print side facing down. Align the paper stack with the edge of cassette.

5. Download the HP Smart App.

Download the app from google play store or 123.hp.com/setup website. Choose the HP Smart App for your HP Smart Tank 500 or other series from the list. Tap on download. Then choose your computer OS and install the app. Go to control panel. Click on Add a printer and select your printer.
