Welcome back to the “Writing Show Music for Battery Percussion Series”. In the previous video, we wrote “The Worst Ballad Ever” for a beginning drumline and explored what I call drumset style writing. In this video, we are going to continue our work with “The Worst Ballad Ever”, except this time we are going to write it for a college level drumline (with no drumset style parts). As always, I try to make these videos with both percussionists and non-percussionists in mind, so hopefully there is something for everybody in this video!

In this episode, we will go through the first couple of measures of the chart and finish it in the next episode.
