Can you find shark teeth in the middle of the desert? Paleontologist Ashby Gale sets out to answer this question.
Shark tooth hunting can take you to some pretty incredible landscapes. On our latest Paleo Road Trip, we collect shark teeth from the top of a sandstone cliff in the middle of Wyoming. These teeth are 70 million years old, from when Wyoming was underwater. These lagoons were part of the Western Interior Seaway, and represent the last time marine life inhabited the interior of North America.
