Today we are going to see how to make Ragi Sweet Adai for Karthigai Deepam. In the Tanjore district, Tamilnadu, some people have a tradition of making Ragi Sweet Adai for Kartigai Deepam. Rich in calcium and iron content. Ragi is known as Finger Millet in English and Kezhvaragu or Keppai in Tamil.
INGREDIENT
Water - 1 cup
Powdered jaggery - 1/2 cup
Ragi flour(Finger millet) - 1 cup
Salt - pinch
Grated coconut - 2 tbsp
Cardamom powder - 1/2 tsp
Sesame oil/ghee for cooking
