Choreographed, composed and directed by Pandit Chitresh Das, Chhandam's cornerstone community event, Ramayana, is a professional and dramatic staging of India's great epic, told in the dynamic Kathak style through compelling abhinaya, movement, live music, and rhythm.

The production features over 300 students of the Chhandam School and is a giant step towards engaging the diverse diaspora to deepen knowledge of Indian history, philosophy, and civilization in a meaningful way.
