In late July of 2020 and I headed down to the lwer Susquehanna in search of some smallmouth. I did mangage to hook some smallies and along the way stumbled across some other fun fishing.

My outfit is a 7’ Lew’s Speed Stick Laser SG1, ultralight power/fast action spinning rod with a Penn Conflict 1000 reel spooled with 10 lb. test J-braid x8 line and a 10 lb test Berkley Vanish fluorocarbon leader.

My primary lures were a 1/8 oz Cabela’s ball jig head in black with Z-man Scented Curly Tailz in Atomic Sunrise and a 1/16 oz Leland’s Lures Crappie Magnet jig head in chartreuse with a white and chartreuse Crappie Magnet grub body.
