This time, I walked around the shopping street in Naganuma Town, Hokkaido, Japan.
This is my first visit to Naganuma Town in two and a half years.
Speaking of Naganuma, Genghis Khan is a specialty, and even in this shopping street,
Kanehiro, Naganuma Genghis Khan, A Corp Naganuma, Sato Butcher Shop
You can purchase Genghis Khan from 4 stores. It would be fun to compare the tastes of each.
Shooting starts near Kanehiro on National Route 337 and proceeds east.
This is the Hondori shopping street, with stores lined up in nostalgic buildings on both sides.
It was Sunday, so many of the shops were closed, but on weekdays there seemed to be a few more people walking around.
It doesn't seem like much has changed compared to two and a half years ago.
When I looked inside the building, I saw several stores that had been renovated and became new stores.
Turn right at the intersection with A Coop and the first street will be Heiwa-dori.
This is my first time shooting here.
Located behind the main street, this is an entertainment district lined with many restaurants.
The arch-shaped signboard that says "平和通り" gives off a really nice atmosphere.
The town where the shopping and entertainment districts are compactly combined into two streets is now a rare sight.
Along with Higashikawa Town, I thought it was a compact town that could serve as a model for other local towns and villages in Hokkaido.
