Ingredients-
Vatan/masala for muttonchicken
Ingredients-
coconut shell- ½
2 small onions
1 tsp garam masala powder( recipe already on simply swadisht channel)
Oil
Method-
Roast coconut and onion directly on low flame for few minutes till outer layer turns black.
Once cool, cut it into pieces . gind it by adding garam masala and make fine paste.
Heat oil and fry in oil for 5 mins on low flame.
This masala can use in mutton and chicken gravy for taste and thickness.
Fish vatan/ masala for fish
Ingredients-
1 cup grated coconut
Coriander
1 tomato
6 green chillis,13 garlic cloves, 2 pieces of ginger
1 tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp coriander powder
Oil
Method-
Grind all together by pouring required water and grind into fine chutney.heat oil and cook for 5 mins till it becomes dry.
This chutney can use in all fish gravys to make it tasty .
Once its cool store in air tight can keep in refrigerator.
