We conquered Rysy from the Slovak side! It was an amazing adventure and challenge for us, because we didn't think we would decide to do it. The trail to Rysy led through the picturesque Mięguszowiecka Valley, in which the Poprad River flows, ending with the photogenic Popradzki Pond.
When the trail from the Slovak side turned off the asphalt, there were wonderful views of the Tatra Mountains. There were also the famous switchbacks, fearsome chains and sharp climbs. However, everything is manageable. The most difficult section remains after Chata pod Rysami,
overcoming it rewarded with wonderful views of 130 peaks and 13 lakes, including Morskie Oko.
