This had two codes I think they were p0700 Tcm malfunction and p0706 transmission range sensor circuit I would clear the codes but they would reappear as soon as the car was started so I ordered input and output speed sensors 14 dollars for both changed these out and the symptoms was from first start at the time of gear change would not and would trigger limp mode this was after negative cable off to reset. I could drive in limp mode starting in 2 a then manual shift to 3 would not go to 1. So intimately it was either the tcm or the a/t relay all the parts I ended up with were from a donor 2007 with engine problems.
