Bucket hat (5-10 years old)

Measurement : 20.50 inches (stretchable)
Yarn : 100 acrylic, light weight yarn #3
Hook : 3.50 mm

Make magic loop

Round 1 : chain 1, 12 hdc. Slip st

Round 2 : chain 1, 2 hdc in every stitch. (24 sts)

(Round 3 is the round where you start crochet in circle without slip stitch in every round)

Make sure to place stitch marker in the first stitch on every round.

Round 3 : 1 sc, 2 hdc, 2 hdc in next st, (3 hdc, 2 hdc in next st) x 5. (30 sts)

Round 4 : (4 hdc, 2 hdc in next st) x 6. (36 sts)

Round 5 : (5 hdc, 2 hdc in next st) x 6. (42 sts)

Round 6 : (6 hdc, 2 hdc in next st) x 6. (48 sts)

Round 7 : (7 hdc, 2 hdc in next st) x 6. (54 sts)

Round 8 : (8 hdc, 2 hdc in next st) x 6. (60 sts)

Round 9 : (9 hdc, 2 hdc in next st) x 6. (66 sts)

Round 10 : (10 hdc, 2 hdc in next st) x 6. (72 sts)

Round 11 - 20 : 72 hdc

(Round 20 : crochet all hdc sts until you have 3 st left, sc last 3 st)

Round 21 : chain 1, (5 hdc, 2 hdc in next st) x12. Slip st (84 sts)

Round 22 : chain 1, (6 hdc, 2 hdc in next st) x12. Slip st (96 sts)

Round 23 : chain 1, (7 hdc, 2 hdc in next st) x12. Slip st (108 sts)

Round 24 : chain 1, (8 hdc, 2 hdc in next st) x12. Slip st (120 sts)

Round 25 : chain 1, 120 hdc. Slip st

Chain 1, cut yarn and weave in end
