This is part one of a two part series of taking a look at what we can build with rebrickable.com. In todays video we destroy a build that has made me upset months ago. The set is the Lego Creator 3 in 1 Downtown Noodle Shop set #31131, with 569 pieces. I built this set with hopes to make it fit in my Lego city, but the scale is just wrong and the open back makes it super unattractive. So I left it on a shelf for another day, hoping I can make use of it. Recently I expanded the Lego city and also cleared off junk like this off the lego shelves. These two facts combined, put the set at the forefront of projects that needed to get done. For the last few months, I have thought about using rebrickable.com to try to make use of this set. And luckily there was a model that only required the use of 2 sets and no additional parts. I bought the second set and the instructions, and went to work. In the review, you can see how the designer made a much better Noodle Shop from the pieces provided. The exterior of the new building is appropriately themed and well detailed. Going inside the top level of this 2 level build we do find something that resembles a kids day care or preschool. It has very colorful detail and is well furnished. The lower level is the Noodle Shop itself and they did an excellent shop amplifying the existing into something much better. The color and detail sticks to that Asian restaurant feel and it looks great. Overall im extremely happy with using rebrickable as an option to correct this set. I recommend people use rebrickable to find use for their Lego sets that lost their appeal. This is now a perfect structure for my beach. My total cost into this build was around $100 and about 3 hours of my time. In Wednesdays video we will finish placing it and securing it, we just need the other building completed at accompanies this one. If you enjoyed the build please Like, Share, and Subscribe!
