I took a risk and bought a homemade guitar, sight unseen, from ebay. There's always extra risk involved in a homemade instrument, a chance it was never playable. But my philosophy is that everything can be made playable with enough gumption, and sometimes charm alone is enough to warrant the effort and sweat.

Occasionally design and innovation intersect and artistry takes precedence over pretension.
