Video includes:
-Surface prep materials and how to (sandpaper, wire brush, rags, Stove Bright® Paint Prep)
-Cleaning off the grease on the BBQ Smoker. Rough sand to get off rust spots. Fine sand to smooth out the surface. Sanding the entire unit important. Use the paint prep after sanding to pick up debris and clean the surface thoroughly.
-Apply a mist coat on the surface of the unit. Just enough paint to start and stick. Let sit for 10 minutes.
-Apply a second light coat and let it sit for 10-15 minutes. Apply a third light coat.
-A 4th coat can be added if needed.
Initial firing process let a kindling fire burn for 10 minutes and then increase to a medium/medium hot temperature for 45 minutes to an hour. Get the unit as hot as possible to set the paint. There will be off-gassing and an odor, which is normal. Once initial burn is done, paint is set.
