The full How To video for Replacing Front Brake Pads and Rotors: • How To Replace Front Brake Pads+Rotor...
These are the torque specs when replacing the brake pads and rotors on a 2007 to 2014 GMC Sierra, which is the same for the '07 to '14 Chevy Silverado 1500. This applies to 2WD and 4WD trucks, but the 8-lug HD trucks use different torque specs than the 6-lug truck that I have here.
The two 19 mm bracket bolts should have fresh thread lock applied and then torque to 129 ft lbs.
The two 18mm caliper guide pin bolts get torqued to 74 ft lbs
The T30 torx screw for the rotor gets 8 ft lbs
The caliper banjo bolt gets 30 ft lbs.
And the bleeder screw only needs 8 ft lbs.
The torque spec for the lug nuts is 140 ft lbs.
