We install a spartan front locker in the 3rd gen 4Runner! This is a great upgrade and cheap,easy upgrade for your 4Runner!
With the hubs locked and in 2wd I hear no noise while in 4wd I hear ratcheting in the locker which is no issues. If your tacoma or 4Runner doesn’t have locking hubs this is still a great option to install a spartan locker drives as stock with hubs locked! Having a front and rear locker it should make climbing obstacles easier with last strain on drive line to the 4Runner!
