Alhaitham was highly anticipated for months, was extremely popular when he first came out, and remains a fantastic choice as a DPS. So why does it feel like he rarely gets mentioned these days?

Outside of combat he’s one of the most nuanced characters in the game. To this day people have strong disagreements about him — particularly his relationship with Kaveh — and yet, his story quest was one of the most disappointing in the entire game for me.

No matter what he wants people to think, he’s not just a feeble scholar.
