Pretty good signal of VOA in Africa captured in Minneapolis, MN on 2/23/2020 at about 18:05 UTC on 15580 khz (19 meter band). I'm using the 120 ft longwire induction method on the Retekess from my last video. This VOA signal is broadcasting from Selebi Phikwe, Botswana which is amazing considering how inexpensive the Retekess is. The 120 ft random speaker wire antenna is positioned N to S about 20 feet of the ground. I was a bit shocked at the signal considering that my Yaesu FT-891 reception wasn't any better!
