After an incredibly long absence, I finally returned to somewhere very special to me. The Eastleigh Lakeside Railway held a special gala over the weekend of the 2-4th August, in which the Simkins "Great Central" fleet of locomotives came to visit. With an intensive operation, these magnificent locomotives were in full stride in the beautiful august sun.

A great event, and fantastic to see nearly every train absolutely packed!
