Okay, so I've been meaning to make a delena video for a while since I watched the finale, but because of my computer situation I didn't have the episodes and well .. can't do videos without clips can I? Now that I finally got 'em back (along with my beloved photoshop - thank god - and a few other things) I couldn't stop myself and I had to edit this.

Damon and Elena are my all time favorite couple (like that isn't obvious), they mean so much to me .. I've been watching TVD for almost three years now and it feels like yesterday when I had that feeling "maybe these two could be good together". Now I can honestly say I still feel the same, my love for this couple is never faltering, no matter how screwed up things get there's one thing that's certain and that's never changing: Delena is OTP, as simple as that.

5x22 destroyed me, I think haven't cried this much since Arthur's death on Merlin, and that's because I knew Damon would come back, imagine if I didn't? Nina's acting was brilliant, I don't think Elena ever evoked so much emotion out of me, even when Jeremy died .. But her sobs and tears looked so real .. Damn I could almost feel her heartbreak, of course cried along with her. Such a tragic, and brokenly beautiful scene that was .. There's no denying now, Damon is Elena's true love .. her reaction to his death was just too large a proof to ignore. Fortunately I haven't lost anybody that important to me yet, but they say when you lose someone you love so much, it feels like dying, only worse. Well Elena certainly looked like some part of her died along with Damon. When she says "he's gone" sudhasudad FEELS!

This song is one of my favorites and it suits them so much, especially after the finale .. And I'm not sure about the video itself but I'm really certain it was a great choice. Hope I made something good out of it.

I also used a quote from TVD's books, one from when Damon died. I think it's so spot on becaus truly, there is no world for Elena if there's no Damon .. it gets more obvious by the second. She loves him, he once told her she is his life, and now I see he is hers too. Elena never saw or wanted a future with Matt or Stefan, but with Damon it's all she sees. Do you want any more proof that they belong together?? My beautiful OTP!!
