Paget Peak is another epic hike in the Canadian Rockies, located in Yoho National Park, Field, British Columbia.

The hike to Paget Fire Lookout is straight-forward and offers magnificent views of Wapta Lake, Cathedral Crags, Vanguard Peak and Pope's Peak.

From the Paget Fire Lookout, you have the option to continue to Paget Peak (and we did :-). Trail transitions to a steep scree slope which requires some minor scrambling but you will be rewarded with breathtaking 360° panoramic views at both the false and true summit, i.e, Sherbrooke Lake, the Canadian Rockies with varied landscapes and beyond.

Hiking down, we checked out Sherbrooke Lake which is an additional 3.2 km round-trip from the junction.

Parking and trailhead are located 400 metres west of Great Divide Lodge, just a few metres off Highway 1.
