On 20th September 2024, Ramakrishna Sarada Mission Vivekananda Vidyabhavan (Girls' College) celebrated its annual Freshers' Welcome Programme, 'Bhagini Baran.' This year, the event held a deeper significance as students dedicated the celebration to 'Tilottamma Abhaya,' in honor of the recent tragic incident in R.G.Kar. The college community stood in solidarity with the protests, using the occasion to not only welcome new students but also to raise their voices for justice and express their support for the movement.
