Friday Night Funkin' is an open-source[2] rhythm game first released as a demo in 2020 for a game jam.[3] The game is developed by a small group called The Funkin' Crew Inc., with the four founding members being the Newgrounds users Cameron "ninjamuffin99" Taylor, David "PhantomArcade" Brown, Isaac "Kawai Sprite" Garcia, and evilsk8r. The game shares some gameplay features with Dance Dance Revolution and PaRappa the Rapper and borrows aesthetic influences from Flash games.[4] The game has been credited with driving users back to Newgrounds, a site whose popularity peaked in the early 2000s.

The Mandela Catalogue is an internet horror analogue series created and written by Alex Kister. The Mandela Catalogue is currently available on YouTube.

The first episode of The Mandela Catalogue was uploaded June 9, 2021, being Overthrone, shortly followed by the Original Copies consisting of the original versions of the tapes used in The Mandela Catalogue Vol. 1. After the release of Vol. 1, The Mandela Catalogue would boost in popularity by a huge margin, motivating Alex to continue the series with Intruder Alert.

Vs. Mandela Catalogue is a small joke mod developed by Official_Cattuss with the help of Gojira_Darko, IamsiiL and CullenDoesStuff. Its contents are based on an Analog Horror Web Video series created by Alex Kister in 2021. The series takes place in an alternate Earth overrun by the Alternates, which are shapeshifting demons that kill and take on the form of humans.
