The members of the International Ensemble Modern Academy Ensemble 2023/24, together with the members of the LENsemble, revived the text scores of Pauline Olivera in the special acoustics of the Liepkalnis water reservoir in Vilnius on 20. July 2024.
Pauline Oliveros - American composer and accordionist, one of the most prominent figures of experimental and electronic music of the second half of the 20th century. The uniqueness of the artist would probably be most accurately described by a radical turn in the listening paradigm. A common configuration is a concert space that pits the listener against the sound source. It suggests a transition from the transcendence of sound to the contemplation of sound in an introspective movement.
