Many schools have unique home game traditions. And, while the Colorado Buffaloes haven't been that good the last decade they still have a few traditions that are memorable; namely the Pearl Street Stampede, a Friday night pep rally that takes place in downtown Boulder a few miles from campus.

Prior to all home games the Golden Buffalo Marching Band and Colorado football players congregate at the Boulder County Courthouse at 7pm and march down the middle of the street to the corner of Pearl and Daily Camera Parking Lot. Here, the band plays and fans cheer. It's actually a great experience for those of all ages.

This particular stampede was prior to the Buff's 2008 contest against Big 12 foe Texas, but let's not talk about that game unless you are a Longhorn!
