Africa is a home away from home for Nosler Pro Staff, Ryan Bassham. He fell in love with the dark continent nearly a decade ago and she always seems to pull him back as often as time and money allow. Africa is home to a plethora of hunting opportunities, however, it's the people, the culture and the incredibly diverse ecosystems that make Africa so unique.

There is good, bad and the ugly motif with Africa. The human to wildlife conflict is real, and complicated. The "Disney Effect" that has warped modern society's thought process on the concept of conservation through hunting is unhealthy at best. There is a real need to manage these resources. There is definitive evidence that scientifically supports the success of conservation through hunting. And for Ryan, it's never more real than having experienced it firsthand with those who live there and face the day to day challenges that most western societies will never fully comprehend.

It was without question to partner with Ryan in the making of this film to showcase the benefit hunting provides to African communities to African communities. Hunters' dollars help feed local villages, fund anti-poaching initiatives, and create protection for wildlife and habitat in impoverished countries. The misconception of hunting Africa is one we intend to correct to a certain extent with this film. We hope you find it inspiring and insightful.
