"Our God has come to us, in human flesh," Egger says. "By His coming and by his death and resurrection, our Lord Jesus has brought us the most wonderful things: forgiveness, peace, purpose, hope. This Savior, child of Mary, has felt our human woe. He has shown us God's love. He lightens our every burden and one day soon He will bring us to the courts of heaven and to the endless day."
